Young Fundraising Professional Award

The AFP Southern Colorado Chapter has initiated this award to recognize a rising fundraising professional in the emerging phase of their career who exemplifies the best traits and characteristics of our profession. The Inaugural Award was presented in 2009.

Kelly Stoecker is the Corporate Giving Specialist at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR), where she consistently demonstrates her dedication and unwavering commitment to philanthropy, innovative fundraising strategies, and exceptional leadership qualities. Kelly's success in fundraising comes from a paramount belief in creating a stronger community.

Kelly has been with HSPPR for almost five years. Before that, she worked with a local corporate sponsor for three years. She has made significant contributions to the nonprofit and philanthropic community in Southern Colorado and further promotes volunteerism and philanthropy in the region through personal passions and nonprofits such as the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival and Pikes Peak Urban Gardens. Kelly has her Bachelors in Business Administration – Marketing from Georgia Southern University.
