Small Company or Organization2024 WinnerChief Petroleum - Colorado Springs, CO At the heart of Chief Petroleum’s philanthropic endeavors lies a deep-rooted commitment to creating meaningful change. Whether it’s ensuring the animals at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region get the emergency veterinary care they need, championing youth development through the game of golf with First Tee - Southern Colorado, or supporting other local programs through Pikes Peak Community Foundation, giving back is a part of the company culture. And that support extends throughout Southern Colorado, not just Colorado Springs where they are based. While the leadership team’s own personal philanthropic involvement is incredibly meaningful, their work encouraging and motivating others to get involved in philanthropy is invaluable. Lisa, president and owner of Chief Petroleum, together with Eric and John, are genuinely committed to empowering individuals and organizations to make a difference. Their collective ability to inspire action and foster a culture of giving reflects their belief - and in turn, Chief Petroleum’s - in the collective power of communities coming together for a common cause. |
Large Company or Organization2024 WinnerRampart Supply - Colorado Springs, CO Rampart Supply is an extremely generous community supporter throughout El Paso County and beyond. Rampart Supply’s locations in Pueblo and Denver also participate in the company’s philanthropic work as part of an organization culture of giving back to the community. This makes their work of helping others a company-wide effort and marks them as a humanitarian figurehead. Their location in Colorado Springs has donated thousands of dollars’ worth of materials in support of affordable and attainable homeownership programs since 2019. Rampart Supply does a phenomenal job of encouraging both employees and others in the community to involve themselves in charitable work. Pikes Peak United Way ranks Rampart Supply as second under the Top Ten Workplace Giving Campaigns on their website. Rampart Supply also encourages its employees to give by holding company fundraisers during Christmas time for local charities. As far as getting customers involved, they encourage them to donate backpacks to a yearly backpack drive donating them to nonprofit organizations. In 2024, they expanded their collection efforts to include all three of their business locations. This led to the collection of over 12,000 backpacks that were donated to the Pueblo Boys and Girls Club, COSILoveYou, and the Denver Mile High United Way. |
